I was promised a refund for the breakfast. Despite several phone calls. Have not had the courtesy of a reply Disgraceful would nor recommend to anyone."

"Very friendly staff in this pub with rooms located in a peaceful village setting outside the hustle and bustle of Whitby. Very good food, brilliant breakfast and a grand pot of tea. Local doorstep walks and a super walk into Whitby for those fit and active. A great find. Hope to visit again."

"Great accommodation on a budget. Ideal location being just a short stroll into town. Only gripe was the metal bed frame which had loose screws and made a racket when turning over in bed. Fortunately had a multi tool to tighten them for the second night. Would definitely stay again"
