"This small, family run hotel is well situated for exploring Cat Ba town on foot. The room was spacious but basic. The AC and fans worked well cooling the room. Rooms at the front are noisy from the Main Street. My room at the back was quieter with only noise coming from the kids in the school next door. "First I must say the negatives here are minor and the customer service was most definitely 5 stars. Quick with the negatives; housekeeping put a torn sheet on the bed. Pet peeve of mine I hate to see. There is no shower stall but a large tub almost 3 feet deep. Treacherous to get in and out of; no shower curtain; room gets flooded and the floor is slick; not a fan. That’s it. Everything else was amazing people skills by the front desk and the dining room. They all went above and beyond to see...
