"Arrived about 8.00pm. Checked into room and found the toilet wouldn't flush. Receptionist was there right away but failed to fix it. Transferred us to a different room right away. The new room was larger - 4 poster bed. Had to turn the radiator off and open the windows for fresh air. This made it very noisy from traffic noise. The room had a bath and a shower but the shower didn't work. Otherwise fine. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Fantastic stay as usual. First room not suitable as had bath but Anna in reception changed immediately. Excellent service from Adele in reception and bar. All staff friendly and helpful and room large and comfortable. There have been some renovation going on and looking really good. Only minus was the new set up on breakfast room as not much space between hit drinks machines and rest of continental buffet so when busy was cramped but quality of food was excellent. Highly recommend hotel."

"I liked the quiet, and peacefulmess and was able to get work done. The only thing i didnt like was there are not clear instructions about getting to reception/checking in. I did not enjoy going in the bar to ask to be checked in, especially carrying my baggage. "

"The hotel is situated in a beautiful and serene setting. All I could hear were birds and the stream running by. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was delicious. Only complaint is that the carpet in our room seemed old. Great stay! "

"We were three couples getting together for an annual trip. The rooms were exactly what we wanted, food and friendly service likewise. Best of all was having a table for six in the lounge for dinner and breakfasts with the owners themselves making sure we were enjoying ourselves."
