"The whole hotel is very dated. It seems like all they did was to renovate the lobby, so it looks new modern shiny, whereas the rooms are left in the 80s/90s era. We had one of the big rooms, with tatami and also a supposed double bed. The bed was not comfortable at all, and way too small for 2 persons. We ended up sleeping on the futons in the tatami section of the room on the second night. Staff wasn't rude, but not friendly like we will expect of the typical Japanese hospitality. The onsen is...

"The window view is marvellous and beautiful for those who love nature. The only down side is there were dead bugs stuck on the window exterior and it affected slightly on the viewing experience."

The traditional Japanese styled room was big and comfortable, with the expected amenities that come with this kind of room. The bathroom was small and the toilet was slightly wonky, but not big issues. The bath was a good size, and the outdoor onsen area was nice after a long day. Laundry worked well."
