"We had a lovely stay at the Cairn. The room was a nice size and we had our two dogs with us. Plenty of parking and loved everything about the hotel. It was also easy to find."

"The hotel is in attractive grounds and the bar food and breakfast were both excellent. Friendly staff. About 20 minutes walk into Pontefract. Plenty of buses too. We stayed on a Friday night and there was a wedding and a dinner dance at the hotel. Our bedroom was directly above the room used for the dinner dance. This made it a bit noisy, which could be a problem for some guests or if they had a noisier entertainer."
