"Lovely hotel opposite the train station and very close to the attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the castle, lake, shops, town, etc, which makes this a perfect location. The room was great, shower wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the huge windows, the desk space and the comfy chair. Everywhere was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of good quality options. I wasn't keen on the QR code booking breakfast/check out...

"The decor in the property is a little dated but it was clean, the bed was very comfortable and large rooms. The chef was very personable and even arranged bacon to be available for us at breakfast even though it is not on their menu. The food was delicious and the blonde haired waitress very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay and good value for money. "

Staff is available by txt but we didn’t try to reach out and none of staff on-site interacted with us beyond check in. Our room had a table and chairs as well as a smart TV. "We spent two nights at Tønderhus, a good hotel, friendly personel., good breakfast. We did not have dinner in the restaurant. The hotel as such is a bit oidfashioned and is without a bar. Our Rom was OK with good beds but with a somewhat “oldish” odeur, it helpen to open the window, though. "
