"Such lovely, helpful staff. The surroundings were very comfortable, the food was first class. It’s evident it really is ‘Team Tontine’ with everyone working well together. The service in the restaurant was of a high standard, the tables are nicely spaced and the standard of cleanliness was exemplary. We were aware that dogs were catered for and those we encountered during our stay were very well behaved! "

"This is a quirky older hotel that has been modernised in places. The room where we had breakfast was a magnificent wood panelled room with a lovely view. The rooms at the back of the hotel had lovely views too. We had dinner in the bar and the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful two night stay"

"We were really impressed with Springkell as soon as we approached it from the driveway and even more impressed with the interior of the hotel. This is a 1st class hotel and we really enjoyed our time at Springkell. In particular the common areas are stunning with magnificent plaster mouldings on the ceilings and a really special main staircase. If I would change anything at all I would install a bell push to call for assistance at the reception desk as it is not always manned. Although the...

"Arrived early to drop off bag as had wedding prior to standard check in time however room had been empty night before so was permitted early access which was very helpful,. room comfortable and full breakfast great"
