"The property is a bit outdated, the bathroom needs an upgrade, however the rooms are large, with mirrors, refrigerator, a small kitchenette. The breakfast was awesome the best we had in Iceland. Dinner was good however as a vegetarian my choices were extremely limited for a price of ISK 8900. We had a stopover for one night and had a comfortable stay."

"The location was so beautiful, and the cabin was super cute we loved it. Our only negative on this location was the bedding was expected to be put on the beds, I am fine with this, but the duvet covers were still damp from the laundry, and I was too tired to deal with the struggles of putting on two covers, so we used our own blanket since we traveled with one. "These cabins are very remote! Its a long drive along a gravel road that has some significant pot holes. We had a 4x4 so managed fine but did take it easy. Owners emailed a property pack over which was super detailed including how to access the property, how to locate to, facilities provided in it etc. The reception areas were large and well furnished. Bedrooms tiny but comfortable enough. We struggle with any kind of decent flow from the shower but able to put that into perspective given...

"This is a very nice large hotel that can host bus groups. Very clean and high standards. We ate dinner at another restaurant so do not know how crowded the dining room was. At breakfast, there were a lot of people but they had enough sitting as they opened up a separate room. I would stay here again. "

"The house was amazing, the check-in experience was awful. The house is loosely connected to the hotel which manages the check in, but the house is actually family run. The front desk agent was friendly, but had us sit for almost an hour without an update. The restaurant refused to book us stating we weren't part of the hotel, despite the fact that the front desk disagreed. The house made up for it."

"Wow, this place gives you the warm welcoming feeling just like you are at home with its very special and beautiful decoration. The owner gave lots of love to te interior design. She owns the coffee shop down stair that has a little of everything. The town shopping center is just 5 minutes drive. To park in front of the door you need to drive up a stiff hill. If you are not comfortable there is a parking on the street too. I love the patio and in unit washer dryer. Very nice owner."

"Absolutely love this cabin! It's warm, cosy and situated in the most perfect surroundings, away from the roads & no neighbours in sight. It has 360 undisturbed views, we sat in awe watching sunsets there every night. The cabin has everything you need, beds are clean & comfy, all rooms are well ventilated.
