"We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable. "We used this Hotel as a stop over for one night on our travels around Europe. We are British, they spoke perfect English and made us feel welcome. The rooms and en suits were large with a safe, hairdryer etc everything that top hotels offer. "Very friendly staff. No problem to communicate in English at all. The place is nice with lots of amenities, such as playgrounds, soccer field, swimming pool, etc. Make sure you bring your own stuff, though, because linens and what not are not included and if you need them, you will need to pay a fee. So does renting a remote control for the air conditioner. We ended up paying 50 euro more for one night. Will definitely go back and bring our own stuff next time."
