"Spent 4 nights at the apartments. We stayed in July so were aware of the property. There were only us and another friendly couple staying here as it was getting to the end of the season. The rooms weren't cleaned during this time or fresh sheets and the bins weren't emptied. We disposed of the bathroom bin contents. We are aware there's no cleaner over the weekend, so maybe be provided with more bin bags and a bin to dispose of them in. We'd still happily stay here again."

Fresh towels and bed linen mid week, unprompted texts suggesting places to visit, offers of help when I was unwell, daily bin emptying and toilet roll replenishment and offers of coffee whenever at the pool area. "This was our 6th trip here, so obviously there is a lot to love. Three times as a couple, this was 3rd with two younger generations. Staff are lovely - although there is a risk of wine recommendations becoming a sales pitch. There are lots more hotel-organised trips available than before. "Although only a two star rated hotel, and because of this only requesting a 50c. per night accommodation tax, the Sofia has a big plus in that guests have access to a swimming pool and snackbar/drinks bar area which is part of the Sofia apartments unit just down the road. As the hotel is family - run, the lady on reception also cooks breakfast, offering a good range of continental -style foods and also freshly cooked eggs, which can either be eaten in the dining room or in a cool open-air...

"Fantastic apartment with a beautiful sea view. Everywhere was absolutely spotless and the owners Nikkos and Maria are always on hand to offer advice or just a friendly chat. THe pool and surrounding area is immaculate. 5 mins walk from the beach, supermarket is 2 mins away. Great air con and wi-fi. One of the best places we have every stayed."
