The hotel was in good shape for a older hotel. Friendly staff. Off season so most of the facilities were closed. Rooms were big. Sleeps 4 with kitchenette. The beach is 1 km away.

Everything was very nice, including the dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. My only complaint is there were 2 hot tubs that were the same temp as the pool. We wanted to soak after a long day in the car but were unable to do so

This beautiful resort was full details thoughtfully crafted by the team to create a restful, luxurious experience. The brand new facility and beautiful views are pristine. The staff was very attentive to cultivate the perfect experience for us!

I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. We will be back!

Staff was Amazing!

Albergo Serena is located up in the mountains with ~10 minutes of curvy roads, but the views are spectacular! Their facilities are somewhat new, it's looks like it used to be a house and they added some rooms but well planned. Their staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with pastries, jams, cereals, salami, cheese, and even a make your own waffles machine!!! This was a simple hotel - bed & breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything worked as it should. The sunny terrace in front was great! We also really liked the ample breakfast. The only thing that was a little difficult was finding this hotel with our balky or dysfunctional GPS. Even our local friend had some difficulty locating the street.

Great place and wonderful people running the facility. Good food, beautiful location, very good customer service. Definitely a place I would go back.
