"Had a truly lovely stay at the Trevelyan in Douglas - received a lovely welcome from Delia upon arrival; had a promenade / beachfront view from my 3rd floor room. Comfortable bed. No problems at all with the shared bathroom facilities either. What I would suggest though, is for basic tea/coffee facilities being provided to guests - either directly in their rooms, or at a central location (for example, in the common area on the ground floor). Thank very much once again !"

"The location of the property on the promenade was good. The bathroom had been renovated and the bed was comfortable. The hotel decor itself is rather shabby and lots of stairs to access the room. This was frustrating when our key card did not work and we had to come all the way back down the stairs again to have it resolved. We also waited a long time for someone to come to reception to check us in and assist us. Overall we would stay there again."

"I arrived early due to my phone not working and I needed WiFi to message my sister. The host was so kind to let me in and use the WiFi and drop off my bags eventhough the room wasn't redy yet. She was very friendly and they iffered free coffee and breakfast. I felt very welcomed."

"This place is well hidden in a residential street right behind the lively Market Street and the promenade. It's a slightly older building, so please be prepared to climb a few steep stairs. The host, Peter, is absolutely amazing. He's very friendly, helpful and accessible in case some assistance is required.
