"The hotel staff where very accomadating especially the staff at recition Thuraya and Amer. Best part is the location of the hotel it central to all the arras in muscat, also around the hotel there is a vast range of coffe shops, restaurants, fast food takeaways. Will highly recommend."

"Upon entering the twin room there was only 1 towel....the bathroom was basic at best..no shelf space...half broken toilet seat...and not sure the bathroom was ever cleaned. The bed linen looked not very clean....walls had stains everywhere...carpets were very dirty. It was more a hostel, than a hotel."

"The Staff are outstanding. The cleaning staff is prompt and thorough and the hotel is very clean and tidy. The stars of the show are the dining staff. Regardless of the demands from visitors they are happy and willing to serve and keep track of meeting customers needs. "

"Loved the place. Very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located. Beach, shops, resraurants are all nearby. Staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodating. "

"Worst hotel ive been in Oman. Toilet doesnt flush. No water in the faucet. Room is old. The reception area is dim and not all lights are opened. When we checked the pool it looks dirty and not appealing as others come there for swimming lessons. The whole hotel looks really old and definitely needs to be renovated all of it. Never coming back there ever again. We paid for 2nights but since it is realy bad we stayed for 1night and left. Terrible terrible terrible!"

"Always a pleasure to stay at the Savoy Grand in Muscat. It is not grand, but everything works --- AC, fridge and hot water --- the beds are comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful. Only 10-15 mins drive from the airport, there is also a city bus from the airport almost to the hotel door. The Bamboo restaurant next door serves an excellent variety of food, and there's a good supermarket 5 mins up the road."
