"If you're visiting Hakodate, then odds are you have stayed at some APA hotel at some point in your life. You stay at APA because it's affordable and well kept up, which holds true here as well. I've stayed in a handful of APA locations, and this location has the best customer service I've experienced at any APA. As for the building, it's probably older, but you wouldn't know because both the room and hallway are in great condition. They clearly have renovated or replaced over the years."

The hotel also rents bikes for 1200 yen for a full day so we biked around the city and we highly recommend it! Would recommend staying here!"

For one night, I didn't mind. However, the staff were organised and welcoming. Unlike similar hotel chains, they had four lifts to take guests up and down. Everywhere was super clean. More importantly, the room was spacious and very comfortable. All facilities were new, and every item in the room was organised logically to make it easy to use. Overall, a very positive experience."
