"The staff are excellent here and we really enjoyed our stay. Our only bug bear was that we didn't understand that use if the spa comes at an extra cost. It was hugely disappointing as we hadn't booked to go into the spa and we're advised we were very lucky to get in. I'm not sure spending another £50.00 on top of the room was "lucky" for a fairly basic spa.The booking company needs to make sure people know the spa isn't included."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, both at breakfast and dinner. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was very windy whilst we were there and due to the age of the property the bathroom window, which didn’t fit very well let a lot of cold air in. Bed and pillows very comfortable."

"The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri"
