"Before leaving this review I read a few of the negative reviews of others. Some had decent things to say and some were just rude and expecting 5 star treatment in a 3 star place. This is a no frills hotel. You get what you pay for. Nothing fancy. And that is okay!! These hotels rooms are basic not for hanging out in all day. There are lots of things to do around the hotel so go explore!! Hotel am zoo is in a very convenient location. Close to coffee shops and bakeries and a good diverse...

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone taking a short trip to Frankfurt! It is attached to a movie theater which is both cool and loud at times. There was very loud construction and a school nearby that made for quite a bit of noise during the day. Outside of that, the front desk was very accommodating, the breakfast was wonderful, and the area was very walkable. They have good wifi and can make accommodations for food allergies. No laundry service. "

"The Asian man who worked the reception desk was very accommodating and helpful. The heat was not working properly in my room and he took care of the problem immediately. The man who fixed the heater and cleaned the rooms was very courteous. This hotel is an older hotel but I appreciated that is was small and quiet. I would stay here again! "

"Great place if it had a better management , maintenance, cleaning staff and if they cared. A kitchen facility that is never leaned, garage from previous client in the room, bathroom, closet, in 4 days and nights no towel change, only one spoon, one fork, one plate kitchen. towels missed replacing. A day where no one cleaned was the same as a day they apparently cleaned. Worst experience ever after 20 years of traveling to Germany. It is a shame. Fortunately the Indian Restaurant had a better...

"Great location. 10-15 minutes walk from the river, the main square and the Euro2024 fanzone. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only negative was the heat of the room without air-con. "

"We stayed at the Hotel for two nights. Staff was not availabel after 6pm. Had to call to get a code to retrieve the room key on Sunday night!! Hotel was quiet and clean…staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with a nice variety! One caveat … Property has no elevator! We came from the United States and had to drag our large luggage to the first floor!! We made it but need to be considered for elderly guests. Overall very good hotel to stay. Definitely would stay there again!!!"
