"All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator! Do I asked for a lower-level room and got one on the third floor. The next night I moved to a lower floor, however, it was very noisy. Good thing I had my ear plugs. The location is fantastic!"

"Staff was lovely. So quiet! We walked to dinner and though it felt perfectly safe they sent a security guard along with us who then returned for our walk home. They even sent us with packed breakfasts before our early flight (which we didn’t even ask for!) Breakfast was lovely the day we were able to eat there too. "

"The Zen Hotel was great. They had a hard time finding my reservation at first but that happens at times. We had 2 rooms during our stay with both being Deluxe Studios with 1 King Bed with sofa bed. The rooms were nice. One had a beautiful view of the city. The room was nice and the bath room had good hot water. WiFI was excellent as well. "Clean and conveniently located family hotel for a few days in Quito. Four of use fit in one room, and its private patio was nice. The water was hot and the included breakfast was reliable. There was street noise, but it was worth it to be just a few blocks from the main plaza. "

"The hosts are so sweet. Breakfast is very good they will cook eggs and bacon fresh for you. The rooms are very clean with fresh flowers a lovely touch. There is a small bar where you can have nightcap. The area around has lots of restaurants and bars. The square seems a little sketchy but we had no problems and felt very safe. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."
