"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is superb - a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the harbour area and light rail station to the airport. The hotel sits above a shopping complex, and a large supermarket on the ground floor (Rema 1000). It was a bit difficult to find, but the mall staff were very helpful in helping me to locate the hotel within the shopping mall. "Good value hotel for bergen, good breakfast. First couple of days were excellent but third day large tour group arrived and the restaurant was wayyy overcrowded at dinner and breakfast. If you get it on a quiet day its perfection... if there is a tour its hard to find a seat! Nice touch is free to use laundry room. Have to pay around gbp 10 per night to use the parking."

"As others have said, this is a basic room with a bed, bathroom, desk and chair and not much room for anything else. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable. Be sure to ask the Host for a fan if it gets too warm as there is no A/C and the window didn't open much. Convenient to downtown: across the street from the Grieg Concert Hall and a market, 5 minute walk to the bus station, train station, light rail station, 10-15 minute walk to the fish market. No TV in the room but there is one in...
