"Place was so clean, the person incharge was helpful and fulfilled all requests made. Nice quiet area near Lake, good views, nice room, great outside area, slot machines, billiards and restaurant. Inclusion of breakfast was awesome, breakfast has many options veg non-veg. Liked everything and will stay again. Only thing is that breakfast on second day was also same, can vary the hotfood options on each day, that will be nice. Thanks."

"The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable."

"We booked the deluxe king room. Well we got quite a surprise when we opened the door at it was soooo small. It had a microwave so I assumed when I was packing that there would be some crockery and cutlery but no, there was only teaspoons and cups! thankfully the bed was very comfortable and the towels (no face washer) were beautiful and soft and large."

"The room type and photos were very different to the room we were given. The room I booked through Expedia looked modern (based on photos) and contained a queen and two single beds. My original booking was for one adult and one child. Based on the bedding configuration for the room I booked, I asked my wife to come for the trip, making a total of two adults and one child (still within the bed / room booked) When we arrived we were given an old room with one queen bed. "Staff are amazing at Winterhaus Lodge, and great parking right above. Its a bit of a wak to the village, but you are right in Thredbo. Amazing breakfast!"

"We stayed at Kasees on an Autumn mountain bike trip. Bed was super comfortable. Facilities were a bit dated but still very clean and in good order. Kitchenette served its purpose well. View was magnificent. Downsides- No secure storage area for bikes (external bike racks supplied) you need to bring your own locks. No parking allowed for dual cabs on-site (park in car parks and walk back to lodge). "
