"After reading Jamaica Inn and feeling a need to visit, my friend and myself were not disappointed. Very atmospheric, with beautiful artwork and old photos, original artifacts and features. Exactly as I imagined it to be in the story!;It rained both days we were there but that didn't spoil it much, just added to the overall Daphne De Maurier experience!"

"This is a small regional hotel in the middle of Cornwall. It is close to the center of Bodmin with a restaurant on site - reservation only for dinner -- and a solid English breakfast in the morning. A good place for walkers and bikers making use of regional trails. "

"Absolutely brilliant b&b with great food, staff and close to harbour beach and costal paths. The only disappointing part of the stay is that breakfast does not start until 9am, which for us was too late as we needed to get on with the day. If breakfast is a 8am start would have given the b&b a 5star. "

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
