"What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...

"We only stayed the one night, and would definitely book here again. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room could probably do with an update, but it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of hot drinks and huices as well as both a cold selection buffet, and a cooked breakfast option, all included in our booking. Overall we were vey happy with our stay."

"About 5 minutes walk from Rye old town, markets, shops and restaurants. Hotel, although a little jaded round the edges decoration wise, was lovely and clean and comfortable. Bedrooms were a good size, comfortable beds and pillows and bathrooms very clean. All public areas were clean and tidy. Staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Good bar with an area outside with seating overlooking the river. And, breakfast was wonderful and many options. Would stay here again if down in Rye...
