"We loved the location of the Hotel. It was slightly out of the main area, but a lovely walk by the water took us there in a very short time. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. It is always nice to have parking available. We also appreciated how they set up their TV stations, with the English channels grouped together. The Head waiter in the restaurant was amazing. We would certainly recommend it and stay there again."

It is a very nice hotel, well located near the lake foreshore with excellent access to the boating transport needed to visit the many sights on the lake. Easy stroll from station (7-8 minutes, with luggage), immediate access to all- old town, restaurants, funicular to Madonna del Sasso etc, ferries for lake trips,. Staff totally helpful and engaging. Great stay for three nights before stunning train trip to Domodossola ."

"The check in was in the middle of the restaurant area and very hard to find. I stayed 4 nights and it was on the 3rd day I could walk into the right door and find the lift without too much trouble. There is no signage for the front door, no direction to the reception desk, and no tourist information. I would not recommend this as my choice to stay in Locarno."
