"Our room (33) was very good - spacious with an excellent en suite. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional (especially Sue at breakfast). We didn’t use it but there’s a lovely big swimming pool "

"Very enjoyable stay. Too hot overnight. Understand Air Conditioning was unavailable, will be better next time. Would have preferred bathroom door to open alternative way. Light very bright when opening door overnight. Or second switch inside bathroom. Bottle of water waiting in room very good idea. Staff professional and pleasant. Good quality breakfast. We will be staying there again."

"Bit mixed… room for the price was very good value but a bit dated, towel radiator was on full and had made the room extremely hot had to get manager to turn off as both plastic tap caps were broke. Bed…very comfortable but could have done with lighter quilt, Food… excellent!!! Service…. excellent!! Breakfast (continental)…. excellent Staff… excellent all of them!!"

"Great stay in a comfortable well equipped, top floor attic room. Wifi a bit hit and miss, but manager was very helpful and tried to reboot it. Should have asked if they had a couple of softer pillows. Complimentary biscuits, and water in room, nespresso coffee machine, smart tv and great refurbed bathroom with touchlit mirror, pleasant branded shampoo, conditioner and shower gel."

"Excellent hotel in the centre of Blandford Forum. The Crown has attractive period features and our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. There is ample onsite parking."

"We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time ."

"Very convenient location in downtown Dorchester, good for walking trips around the town. Several museums and historical sites nearby. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice restaurant for breakfast (no lunch or dinner service). Several restaurant very nearby, easy walk. HOWEVER, very tiny parking lot (accessible from a side street) which can accomodate a maximum of 9 small UK sized cars, so it is easy to find ot full. A large public parking lot is a couple blocks away, and it is possible to find...

"Booked for relatives. They enjoyed it especially the big comfy bed, bath, private patio, tea coffee etc. they didn’t have time to use the club facilities "

"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...
