It's a 15 minute walk from the city centre and has it's own private underground parking (first come, first served basis) so we could just leave the car and wander the city. Can't fault the stay - great location, friendly staff, good rooms and priced well. Would definitely stay again if we return to Gent."

"The hotel is very lovely for such a little town, but DEFINITELY ask to sleep away from the street. We really wanted to like this place but.... unfortunately we didn't get a wink of sleep because of very loud drunks every single night screaming, but... the hotel is RIGHT next door to two church bells that ring throughout the night until midnight, starting again at 6am. Everything else was lovely and a convenient place in the town."

"Quirky historic hotel in a very quiet part of the city, but just a few minutes walk from the centre. Great staff, lovely breakfast. Well appointed room and bathroom. Only slight criticism is that the double bed was two singles pushed together and they were very "mobile" so would drift apart easily!"

"Ghent is a very pleasant city to walk in, so the hotel is very well located, it is very close to the train station and it is not far from the center. The room is well lit, the bed is very comfortable, I really liked the view of the garden, especially at sunset, because of the way the sun enters the room, the breakfast was also delicious, I really liked having fresh orange juice , freshly squeezed, variety of breads and hams.
