We would have liked to use the beach; unfortunately that was impossible due to tides, waves, and the very narrow strip of actual sandy beach. But it was great to watch the waves crashing on the cliffs from the various outdoor seating/lounging areas. "

"Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . "Does exactly what it says on the tin. Location is good. Just right outside train station and 5minutes walk to the walls. Rooms a bit dated but good size and functional with a mini fridge. Shower was fine and room keeping did a good job each day. Breakfast was average but think it was free so can’t complain. Bread, hard boiled eggs, selection of pasties and selection of cereals.
