The room has a tiny balcony that gives you some fresh air despite a chair not fitting there. The room is basically equipped. "

Political graffiti is ever present. Beautiful islands, third world charm. Overwhelming Muslim environment, including social restrictions. Safe and fair value, fantastic effort by host and concierge as much as possible. Long and pricey taxi by boat ($50 a couple each way) to arrive at the property. Noise disturbances...

"I loved how there was a convenience store a few blocks away. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful. The chef made excellent dishes everything was well made and fresh. "We didnt really enjoy staying at this hotel at all. We felt like an inconvenience to the staff. There was no ambience at all - you feel like you are walking into an abandoned room. Simple changes would really lift this hotel - - staff that smile, laugh & are happy. - Our room needed a deep clean - there was mould growing on the bathroom glass. - Some minor repairs & maintenance to doors. - at least add some flowers to the tables or placemats & play some soft music so people feel...

"From prior to arrival, arrival to departure, their service has been excellent! It was easy to communicate with them in English on flight arrival, your resort communicates with Starry Beach and they will give you a wake up call and also arrange the transportation back to the airport for your seaplane check-in. The room is clean, shower is a wet bathroom which is common in Asia. Service is top-notch and they will help you as much as they can! If I am to stay in Male, I will go back to this...
