"An oasis near the centre of Taunton - All I needed was a beer, some food and a very comfy bed after a hard day and they obliged in ample measure. Although the chef count was down to one through an absence they still managed to rustle up a nice meal (thanks guys). The bed was huge and the room nice and large. Breakfast was ample. All in all it was what we all seek but find it hard to discover these days - Good Value. "

"Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. However, the breakfast was a big let down. Took ages to replenish hot food. The coffee machine was very inadequate. One machine which took an age to dispense, hence large queues and food going cold."
