"I stayed at The Bloc Hotel during a short trip to Birmingham for an event, and overall it was a great experience. The location is really convenient – just a short walk from the train station and close to the Bullring, which made things a lot easier after a long journey. It was a relief to know I didn’t have far to go once I arrived in the city. I mainly used the hotel to drop off my things and get some rest, as I was out all day at the event. For that purpose, it was ideal – affordable, clean, and comfortable. A nice touch was the free water bottles provided in the room, which was appreciated. One small downside: there wasn’t a mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. So if you’re someone who needs a mirror for makeup or getting ready, that might be a bit inconvenient. It would be great if they added one to the room in the future. Overall, a solid choice for a short and functional stay in the city."

"Staff were lovely friendly and helpful, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was super fantastic choice and tasty. The shower was great good pressure and nice soap. However the hotel could do with a update, as the bed was quite hard, decor needs attention in areas and windows need updating as everything could be heard from outside. Although great value for money. "
