"We were met on arrival at reception which was quick, easy and very friendly and were shown and told everything we needed to know. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor of the rooms is slightly older style but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine. There was a pool and free buffet breakfast which added to the comfort and enjoyment. The hotel is also a short distance to the waterfront, bars, restaurants and ferries and a nice walk around to the beach."

Cons: it is about15-20 min drive to Split, but in the morning it took us over an hour to reach Split. This is due to only 1 road that crosses the river and its lights flash amber (no traffic control). This was consistent over the 3 days we passed by the area. Also, turning into the property is difficult depending on which way you arrive, but...

"We read the reviews of this being a tired hotel and needing attention before booking and decided to take a gamble. We were very pleasantly surprised! It is not the Ritz, but it extremely adequate for a one night stay. The room was spacious and clean, reception inviting and staff friendly. The dining was like a cattle market as so huge an area, but we loved this... took me back to my childhood and the 1980's when i used to package tour full board with parents. Great people watching! "The hotel is very old, dirty and outdated. The room and bathroom are small and old. They also turn the hot water off around 11:30pm until a little after 7am. Food and drinks that came included is ok and not that great but if you enjoy cheap food and drinks, it will be fine for you. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was the only plus."

"Such great hosts and a fantastic sea front setting. Great base to visit Split with a bus stop on the doorstep. You will have your own parasol to position on the beach once you have finished exploring Split or make use of the free paddle boards! Definitely recommend!"

"I cannot say how much I loved this little charming, beautiful hotel located on a gorgeous beach. Their motto is arrive as a guest leave as a friend or amigo. I felt so welcome from the moment. Joseph met us at the entrance. The food was great with breakfast included, and the price was so reasonable. I totally loved it and did not want to leave. "

"Located one street from the sea, it is a great location that close enough to all the main streets / attractions. Having the roof terrace is wonderful to have breakfast outdoors or a drink in the evening. The rooms were large and very clean. Would recommend."
