"The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good especially for the science museum and Oceanography which are just on the doorstep. There wasn’t really a proper bar area except For the rooftop bar which was closed because of the weather. "

"Everything was wonderful until we where waiting for our taxi in the lobby today at 11:30 am and I took a napkin from the bar and this lady came running and ask in a not so friendly voice if we wanted order something to drink and I said no thank you. The bottom line is that your company should never hire that kind of people."

"If you enjoy and are able to walk, it is a fine walk along the river park to the historical center. Approx 1.9 kilometers away. Else, there is lots of public transportation. "

"I loved my stay at Barcelo Valencia. The hotel is lovely, the staff attentive and helpful and the location perfect. Right next to the riverbed/ park so it is an easy walk to centre of the city or the beach. The science centre/ oceanographic/ conference centre is right by the hotel. Lots of patisserie’s and restaurants nearby as well so easy to find a good place to eat. I had a great stay at this hotel, the room was spacious and the cleaning staff are excellent. I will definitely stay again. "

"Lovely hotel, reception staff very helpful, arranged early check in and parking, rooms are equally lovely but a little small for a couple, rooftop bar provides great views of city towards old town, in walking distance. Excellent breakfast. "
