"After reading the reviews we opted for a state room and didn’t regret it. The views from the balcony and bed were beautiful. We always found sun beds and there were 3 areas to sun bath. The pool is more of a plunge pool so we went in the sea. Breakfast had enough options to suit English tastes and picky vegans. It was quiet in the room which was a oasis away from the lively resort."

"What a beautiful apartment! It is close to Nerja and Torrox beaches, which is a huge plus! The pool was refreshing, the space was plenty big enough for our family of 5, and we have to say it is our favorite place of all 6 we have stayed at during our tour of Spain!"

"Good check in. We weren't there very much as we were moving house. Bed hard fir me, fine for my husband. Good shower. Small room. Yard that we looked out over needed sorting out and tidying. Pool needed cleaning and upkeep around it. Hard access with steep steps. Didn't have anything to eat or drink so cannot comment on that. No 'doormans trolley' so was hard taking mutiple pieces of luggage to room. Handy for town centre and beach front."

"It was a 2 night break from routine during a regular holiday. The hotel and related service was good although the absence of out of hours help and restaurants/catering finishing at 4.30pm was a minor stress. The big "plus" for us was the nearby beach (30 minute walk) and associated eateries. Añoreta prom was a worthy visit"

"The rooms are clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. Unfortunately, the pools are icy cold and unusable by kids and adults. The food is average, but interestingly, the all-inclusive deal does not include drinks at lunchtime or dinner. Not even water or soft drinks. Breakfast includes juices and water. The WiFi internet is abysmal, with a lot of drop-offs. Rooms are meant to be non-smoking, but visitors do smoke on a balcony, so the balcony door needs to be shut to avoid smoke...

"This is an apartment hotel and as such there is quite a lot of self-service i.e. getting luggage to the room etc. The accommodation is spacious, kitchen is well-equipped for European guests. (No kettle for the English) also nothing provided in the way of tea, cofee, washing up liquid so bring your own. Breakfast is a very good buffet selection in lovely surroundings. We also had a delightful meal at the restaurant once again in lovely surroundings with very friendly service. On a main road...

"The hotel is in a stunning location and provided an excellent base to explore the area around Vinuela. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with details of a local company who run mountain bike rides round the lake. The hotel itself was nice. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable but with limited sound insulation between the rooms, it wasn’t a quiet and relaxing space. Ear plugs were a must for getting to sleep before 1am. Breakfast was nice, with lots of choice....

"This is a very cute and comfortable hotel, and my room facing the ocean with a balcony was basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, everybody was super nice, and the ocean strip with restaurants was really great. La Herradura is lovely."
