"Staff were very friendly and welcoming, including Dagmar the bar maid. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment hence the 3star for facilities, however the place is spotless. We were given room 407 and it was spacious and perfect. Breakfast was very good with a vast range of choices all freshly cooked. Breakfast staff were also very good, keeping everything clean and replenished. Thank you gasworks we look forward to coming back to see the updated refurbishments. "

"Perfect location in the city, the rooftop bar was great for afternoon cocktails and had a great vibe, the Sunday roast in the restaurant down stairs is the best in town! We had a fab stay, the staff on reception and in the top bar were so friendly! We had a small room but it was perfectly sized "

"Overall comfortable room with well equipped bathroom. Minor grip was the extended walk to restaurant . Breakfast was average could have had more choice with disappointment that porridge had to be ordered. Pool nice if I’m at the right time but gym cramped with asking equipment. Any more than three it felt crowded. I ended up using studio for stretching which is where a number of classes were offered mornings and evenings."
