"All the staff are friendly, helpful and articulate—really excellent. The hotel is well located in the Old Town, and the building itself is impressive, particularly the central, full-height dining room with its beautiful lamps, discreet climate controls, exposed brickwork and marble features.
The main disappointment for our stay was breakfast. The staff seemed overstretched, resulting in long delays with the coffee which on one occasion arrived at the very end of breakfast, and similarly with...
"The airport shuttle was a massive plus.
In a great location if you like a little bit of a walk. Friendly staff, very welcoming.
Rooms a little tired but a lovely stay was had."
"It’s a cruise ship atmosphere. Lots of people, lots of things to do and see, nightly entertainment. Must be ok with crowds during the high season. And the humidity in Malaga is REAL. None of the hotel common areas have air conditioning"
"We stayed here when we arrived in Malaga in the evening. The location was convenient to the airport with our rental car. The location was not good if we had been planning on spending time in Malaga. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful."
"Room is cleaned everyday, breakfast is wonderful, staffs are very friendly. However, location of the hotel is not very convenient, it will take 20 minutes walk to the major attractions, shopping district and some nice restaurants. In general, we have had a nice stay."
"Had an excellent stay at ICON Malabar. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, and always happy to assist with any questions. The hotel was very clean and in a great location in Soho, just off Alameda Principal, so everything was within easy walking distance. Would happily stay again."
"Perfect location! 5 minutes from the beach, and 10-15 minutes of walking through a beautiful park to the old town. A lot of nice restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance."
"Amazing hotel very close to the beach! The pool and hot tubs are great and well maintained. We loved the food at the buffet, especially the breakfast. Great staff also. Do not hesitate to book a room there. We had a room with street view and really enjoyed it."
"Mooie kamer/appartement midden in het historische centrum. Schoon en zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Buiten geluid is hoorbaar, wil je dat niet dan moet je niet midden in het centrum gaan overnachten. Wij vonden het geen probleem."
