"We found this hotel to be a quiet oasis after visiting the bustling cities of Sicily. Comfortable, clean and excellent service. "

"Hotel Belvedere sits just steps down the street from the old town, with lovely views of the ocean below. The staff greeted us with Prosecco and smiles, and offered wonderful dining recommendations. Every restaurant they suggested was fabulous! Breakfast choices were vast, and the bar offered some local speciality drinks. "

"Beautiful grounds unlike any other. Renovated room was extremely spacious and perfect for our stay. Not sure if all the rooms are renovated but the room we received was even better than expected. Shuttle bus is also very convenient"

"Beautiful hotel in wonderful location. Very clean and well maintained. Pool area nice , but pool water too warm. Breakfast room was gorgeous and lots to chose from. I loved the proximity away from town a bit but still walkable. Views from pool were nice. Did not like some of staff who were a little snooty. I don’t respond well to attitude. I didn’t let it bother me and enjoyed my stay. Would happily return. "

"Nicely new renovated rooms- and great views if you get those rooms. Initially gave us a view of the trees vs the sea but rectified right away. An issue with the HVAC- kept buzzing on and off. For the price in Taormina quite good and the breakfast is spectacular- with views from the rooftop. A nice balance of traditional and modern design."

"The hotel is very nice but the surrounding area was just dirty, run down and it didn’t help that the red light district was a few meters down the road. "

"Location requires climbing steep stairs or road to go anywhere, view from many rooms obstructed by a wall of the balcony of the room to the right. Car has to be valet parked, expensive. Should advise this in website to stop people with any handicap however minimal from choosing this hotel."

"We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. The property is clean, but in need of some updating. The staff was wonderful, particularly Lorenzo and Giovanni at breakfast and William was helpful at check-in. The parking area is a short walk. We liked the fact that there were a number of restaurants/bars right across the street. In particular I would recommend O’Neils- amazing food and a fabulous family who runs it.
