"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

It's also just a very short walk into town where we ended up having all of our meals and there is a nice supermarket there as well. Everything was very convenient. We were a little disappointed that there was no mini fridge in the room. "

"The staff at the restaurants were excellent! They were extremely helpful, happy and accommodating. The pools were great especially the hot pools. The ambiance and the grounds were beautiful. I would have given it a 5 star, but our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds and instead it had a king. I complained and their solution was to bring in a twin bed. "
