"First off the hotel staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing. Kylie in the restaurant was so helpful with our dietary needs. It’s a beautiful hotel and well designed. The only thing was the noise. I read so many reviews ahead of time and don’t recall coming across one that spoke about the noise from the pool, Rainy Street and then the overspill when drunken guest return screaming all night. It definitely isn’t a hotel I would stay with our child again but if you’re looking to party and barley...

"We had a fabulous stay at Downright Austin! The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They mentioned it was newly renovated and the vibe was perfect. "Wonderful staff! Pool was a little small, but the area couldn’t have been better for us. Lots of walkable places and not in the downtown loudness. It was absolutely a great stay! Loved the popsicles and cookies and delicious blueberry lemonade. The beds were very comfortable, and I’m extremely picky! The parking in front of the hotel is much cheaper than the parking attached to it, and it’s very easy to use."

"This hotel is a landmark and was built in 1886. They offer a free tour of the hotel which I would recommend. It's very well maintained while keeping all it's original charm.
