"Ok so you know what you get with Holiday Inn. However levels of service & cleanliness vary across the country. We spent 2 nights here and found the team very helpful, friendly and nothing g was too much trouble. On top of that the place was clean, tidy with good food and amenities. Money has obviously been spent keeping the place in a good condition which is reassuring. The family enjoyed the pool and being able to use it throughout the day "

"Great stay with the family. The kids loved the pool and had a room of their own room which really helped in the evening. We all had a really good sleep and breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was perfectly located for our needs. The room decor was a little tired and the basin tap had seen better days, but overall the room was clean and bright and comfortable with not musty smells."

"We adored this hotel! Clean, newly appointed features in the room, and great overall hotel amenities. We would stay again! We also loved the neighborhood it sits within. We were able to walk easily to many areas of interest, including a relatively easy 30-minute walk to enjoy the scene and get to the Royal Albert Dock. We highly recommend the Philharmonic Dining Room for dinner across the street from the hotel. "

"In the city for a concert and the Dixie Dean was an ideal base for the weekend. We had a 'luxury' room, with two massive beds and the bath was the size of a swimming pool!! The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of selection and regularly stocked up. The waiters didn't stop with topping up coffees and clearing up promptly. High recommended if you're in the city."

"The hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately it is in a busy part of town meaning you can hear people leaving the pubs/clubs late at night. Due to the age of the building it was hard to get a flow of fresh air so everywhere felt too hot. But the room had air con. The staff were lovely and friendly. Unfortunately the breakfast wasnt ready on time so once we got into the dining area the 1st serving of food was gone in seconds. They ran out of cooked food, bread and plates quickly. "The staff, bar area and room were excellent. However the bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on, at one point in the night I was convinced the floor maybe softer. I achieved about 2 hours of sleep on the mattress and woke up in pain. "
