Beds are comfortable, apartments clean and functional, staff are helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone with young children. Location is lovely, halfway up a mountain with access to cable car at the Stoos or bus down to Brunnen on the lake, easy to take the boat across the lake to Luzern Unfortunately, as my children have grown up now, they don’t take as much...

"Very nicely located at the arrival of the cable car, 3 minutes by foot, no noise, brand new hotel. You can start skiing from there. Just huge and crowdy. Though I stayed 4 nights, I had to change room after 1 night because of different customer name and the other room was much smaller. Funny meal ordering system, but convenient."

"The hotel location is fantastic, only 3 min away from the train station. We love the peace and quiet with fantastic scenic view of Switzerland mountains. We also really enjoyed their breakfast with high quality local foods as well as cleanliness. The only down side is the lack of AC in the room which we’re lucky enough to travel during the hottest time… However, we still highly recommend staying with Hotel Dakota (maybe not if the weather is 70 degree F)! "
