"It was an amazing property, our only issue was that dining was lacking. It wasn't good as the menu was very limited and there were no snacks or a tuck shop available. The pizza restaurant was available but we didn't like the pizza. there should be more menu choices and food availability from take out."

Critiques if interested were no coffee maker in room, very limited selection in mini fridge (1 each of water, bottle beer and kiwi drink- nothing else) and lastly shower space was dated and on the smaller size. However these didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves and would recommend this hotel."

"Having 24 hour reception was very useful. Really nice breakfast on the terrace downstairs under the shade of the building. Buffet-style with lots of choice. Room is small, but adequate and air-conditioning worked. Only quibble is the disposable plastic cups in the room. "

"There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. New bed covers would easily improve the look of the rooms, though the beds themselves were good. The area itself is pretty empty and...

"What a prefect location- 10min walk into old town. Large apartment for two, most uncomfortable bed we’ve slept in/ two singles pushed together with a big dip in the middle (not so great) old stale smell in the cupboards.( we kept them open the whole time to air ) Dining chairs not cleaned properly (food crumbs still on them) The pool area is fantastic ( although way too much chlorine) easy free parking great. "Stayed here for a wedding. Pool and hotel were clean and comfortable. Very relaxing atmosphere. Staff at weren’t very friendly when needed assistance with things and failed to make a dinner reservation when I asked them to. They weren’t able to seat me at the restaurant. Staff didn’t seem to like English speaking guests and found us more a nuisance. "
