"Having read some less than positive reviews, we were a little bit sceptical about our stay. However, I can say nothing but good things about the hotel, our room, whilst not the biggest was clean, neat and tidy, the bar was lovely as was the dining room and the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again. Only downside was the expensive car parking which is operated by a third party on the hotels land"

"Some Marstons are not where they need to be and need money spending on them, this one like a few others I have stayed in was relatively new and strips out all round, the food was excellent."
