"Great inn in Izu Kogen. Good food, welcoming staff, nice baths, large rooms, and lots of activities (e.g. pottery making, etc.). Only suggestion would be that a few parts of the inn need a very small amount of maintenance. Highly recommend."

"Our booking dates were June 24-25. One night. First off the experience was excellent. We pre-booked the private onsen room and was quite ample for a family of 4. Note private onsen room is an additional charge if 3300 yen. Reservation was made prior to our arrival. Everyone in our party wore bathing suits during the 1 hour of use. After 10 minutes everyone was sweating. The temperature of the hot springs were quite high and given time/season proved to be more than we cared for. But a must do...

"We had a Japanese style room with a private hot spring tub in the courtyard. Room was clean and spacious. The hot spring temperature is just perfect and enjoyable. We arrived very late to the hotel and missed our dinner. The breakfast was served in our room by two very friendly Japanese ladies. Staff speak very very little English but they use an interpreter online to assist guests. They provide courtesy shuttle to the train station."

"三保の松原を観たくて偶然見つけたウラレナさんでしたが、なにもかもが最高でした。 お部屋はとても広く清潔で何日でも滞在したいほど。全てが清潔感とセンスに溢れています。スタッフさんの対応も完璧です。とても良くしていただきました。 また、夜はお部屋でフレンチのコースをいただきましたが、地元の食材を活かした一品一品が全てが美味しい。 滞在中に残念ながら富士山は現れてくれませんでしたが、ウラレナさんへの宿泊が帳消しにしてくれました。 2組しか泊まれないのであまり有名になって予約が取れなくなると困るのですがとてもお薦めです。 またいつか特別な時に再訪したいと思います。"

"Amazing hotel with excellent food, drinks and views. Had a room with the hot tub on the terrace and I was using this a lot during my two day stay. One word of caution if you come by train and with luggage: the slopes are very steep so I suggest to use a taxi which will set you back around 1250 JPY."
