"The hotel was absolutely lovely inside. Gorgeous artworks, modern and spacious lobby. The restaurant and bar was amazing and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great and the service too. Our room was simple and very clean, perfect for what we needed. The view was not too bad, the area its in looks run down, with derelict buildings and graffiti and sewage smells to one side amd a nice park and the river to another. I mean its close to a motorway and train station...good...

"My room had a very nice overview of the park and the Hamburg area. First thing that I did after dropping off my bags at the room was to take a walk through the park, there is also a Planetarium located in this park that I did not get around to visiting - next time. The S-train stops are a short walk away and run very frequently, there's also a bus stop 5min walk away just around the corner from the hotel - this way you can plan your journey together via S-train and bus and have a shorter walk...

"The Hotel Baseler Hof is a nice German hotel in a great area. The rooms are small but comfortable, but the rooms of those in my party lacked modern conveniences such as irons, coffee machines or air conditioners or fans. "

"This is an excellent hotel. The location is brilliant with only a 7 minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn - U3 line which takes you to most places in the city centre. The rooms were very very clean as was the hotel. The breakfast was great with a huge selection of food and drink. The bar area is lovely too. All the staff at the hotel are so helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Absolutely excellent."

"Such a fantastic hotel. Staff so friendly. Rooms so modern and of a great size. Good location for train station and getting around the area/ to airport. Multi purpose hotel - ideal for business/ conferences but also for a family trip. "

"Overall it was a nice stay. However, the cleaning crew should clean around the shower stall more thoroughly. I could see the dirt unter the shower stall. For the price the breakfast lag the variety of fruit and pastries. Cloth drier did not work well. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice."
