"We had a overall great stay at this property during our trip to Allgäu-Oberstdorf. The hotel room was spacious and clean, furniture were a little dated, but still in good condition. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, staff and service were friendly. Would definitely stay again when I’m the area."

"I was disappointed that staff made me feel like I was an imposition, particularly Uta Tobisch. The other staff made some effort but a far cry from other areas across Europe that I’ve visited. I stayed for two weeks for a figure skating competition and my room was far from the main restaurant, cleaned only every other day, and I constantly had to request more toilet paper. Utilities and room are adequate. "

The room charge was €168 for a single occupancy & when I included my wife who joined me they added €120. "Management was not to be seen. A lot of undertrained staff. The main hotel is in very poor condition and needs major renovations. Hygiene can be seriously improved. The new section of the hotel with a spa and the restaurant is on the other side of the street. In the main building, there is no possibility to have tea or coffee, not in the room and not in the foyer.
