"Weather was brilliant, food was brilliant, room was amazing we stayed in the prince of wales suite , drinks were very expensive and there were also suppliments to the food which we were not told about "

"Really disappointed with the property. It could be so lovely as the surroundings are really beautiful. Room is outdated and grubby. Surfaces and floors were sticky. We had no hot water to shower in the morning and mentioned it at check out only to be told it had been rectified, but at that point it was to late as we were checking out. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. "

"An enjoyable stay. Staff friendly, clean room. Don't know why the spa had a charge as when booked directly with the hotel it would have been free and there were charges for the towels and the robes. Evening meal good. I felt the room was quite expensive but on the whole it was an enjoyable stay."

The only thing to note is the Shower Room is a little tight but, you do not stay in the Shower Room and this should not put you off staying. "This is an excellent B and B. Clean, quiet, safe, affordable and comfortable. It is a bit remote, in a little village, so do take care when driving to it. Our Driving app directed us through some single lane, gravel roads because that was the shortest way. But you don’t have to do that, as we discovered. "

"Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...
