Pleased there was plenty of free parking. Easy walk into town centre."

"In a lovely spot in the old town of Fribourg. Loads of things to do by foot although it is quite hilly. The lady on reception was amazing, really friendly and very helpful. If going back to the train station use the funicular, quite an experience (powered by sewage!) and takes all the hills out which is handy when you have cases"

"This is an excellent hotel. The staff, location and quality of dining is 5-star. I would stay again. Parking is an additional fee of SF15/day. The only complaint is there is no air conditioning in the rooms. On hot days, or even warm days, the rooms are overly warm and the only option is to wait until nightfall and open the patio door - which is a better option if you are not on the ground floor. "Amazing place, beautiful chalet-style rooms. Location is fantastic. Gastronomic experience was excellent too. Service is second to none. Only downside is the train track next to the hotel, but the noise is completely fine if you keep the window closed during the night."
