"A few small maintenance and cleanliness issues like chipped plaster on one of the walls, stained lampshades and cushion and one of the lights did not work and the plug in the Bath had no chain on it so trying to get it out of the plug hole was a nightmare, but these were all small issues and they did not affect our stay here and we were very happy in general. "Really disappointed with the property. It could be so lovely as the surroundings are really beautiful. Room is outdated and grubby. Surfaces and floors were sticky. We had no hot water to shower in the morning and mentioned it at check out only to be told it had been rectified, but at that point it was to late as we were checking out. "Lack of staff meant being locked out of our room as the keycard battery died. The young lady on reception tried her best but for some reason the spares are kept in a locked safe by the manager. She was busy and didn’t seem to care whilst she tended to an almost empty restaurant."

"One night stay, staff friendly and efficient booked in, in no time. Room in a quiet area of the hotel, although small perfectly adequate for my needs. Comfortable bed with plrenty of pillows. Surprised to find out the pool, jacuzzi, sauna remains open until 22:00, so had the place to myself for about an hour. Breakfast was excellent with good staff making sure all my needs were catered for. Hotel, although redecorated is showing a lot of signs that it is old and dated. There was cracked pavers...

"Everything was good we stayed in room 111 and the only thing I would report on the downside was that the bed seemed to dip in the middle. We realise it was two single beds joined together, but it definitely dipped in the middle."
