"Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location, it has a gorgeous roof deck with a pool and a bar with stunning views of the harbor and the mountain. Wonderful service at the hotel, very walkable to shopping areas, the waterfront, the market and the gondola to Monte. The morning breakfast buffet was awesome as well. "

"I don't have a bad word to say! About 20mins drive from the airport costing about 40euros in a taxi. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent high quality food choices for reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and polite. Facilities were excellent. Plenty of sunbed arounds the pool with an adults only section on the 11th floor with amazing panoramic views. We were abit hesitant about the access to the sea area as its not a 'traditional beach' but the sea was so clear and non polluted also life gaurd warning flags in action. Approx 20min walk into Funchal city. 2mins up the hill from the hotel plenty of bars and restaurants serving variety of excellent food. Will definitely be staying here again and will recommended! "

"Everything about the stay was faultless - the room, the welcome drinks, the views, the food and staff. The view from the bedroom was fantastic we were directly over the pool, which allowed us to see and hear the crashing waves while still sitting in bed."

"Vi uppskattar det mesta med hotellet, bra service och hjälpsam personal. Passar utmärkt för familjer i flera generationer (om än inte högsta fokus på barnaktiviteter). Vi var nöjda med buffé restaurangen och även specialrestaurangen (man får gå på 1 gång/vecka). Vi tyckte basic drinkar såsom gin & tonic, rom & cola etc. var bra dock lämnade poolbaren blandade drinkar mycket att önska. Vi uppskattar mycket att de uppmärksammade min födelsedag med mousserat vin, stort tack för det! Pool området var vi nöjda med. Trevlig strandpromenad med tillgång till allmänt bad. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på Madeira och hotel RIU."

"Literally perfect in every single way, super clean, rooms were really spacious and so many great restaurants all walking distance away. Only complaint was parking/driving into the hotel premises. Parking fills up fast and trying to figure out how to get into the lot is a whole ordeal but this should not steer you away from booking. Highly recommend!"
