"The staff are very friendly and helpful! This hotel is older so one should expect to find an older pool, older sliding doors and bath tubs etc. I was not planning to need to spend the night in Puerto Plata but I am definitely thinking about planning a trip back to stay here again!"

"This property is outstanding. I actually stayed at the Imperial Suites on the beach, which is across from the Presidential Suites after 1 day. I loved the Imperial Suites very much. But the Beach view of the Imperial Suites convinced me to change the next day. But the Staff and the openness to everything was outstanding. I loved everything about this hotel. The food in the restaurant was just okay. It did not have a lot of offerings for my taste. But there are restaurants up and down the beach. I cannot say enough how safe I felt here. I felt safe enough that I slept with my balcony doors open throughout the night."
