The staff went above and beyond to care for us.

Very beautiful property and nicely decorated rooms that were welcoming and relaxing. Staff were very professional and also very helpful. Nice outdoor space to enjoy a relaxing coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Also great restuarant that had a tradional menu in addition to great grilled options. The grilled lamb was excellent. Atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommened.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at La Sovana in their apartment complex. We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bath with kitchen. It was the perfect set up for 2 couples to share. My only wish was that it included a washer/dryer set up. Laundry is available for a fee which we did use but it would be nice if there was washing capability in the apartment itself. Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. Our stay at Podere La Rocca was fabulous! The property is located in the rolling Tuscan hills just outside Montepulciano. Very good location. Very clean. Nearby free parking. Breakfast was just okay. Too much unnecessary clutter and perfumery airfreshner smell in room in my opioion. Seemed totally unnecessary as rooms were spotlessly clean. Luggage rack in room would be helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Pro: gorgeous and spacious property, we were upgraded to a junior suite that was lovely, attentive staff, and incredible amenities. Pool was wonderful for tired bodies. Con: very few. The restaurant on site has pretty limited menu, toilet in room kept running all night long- informed staff on checkout (as it was troublesome to flush, and wasting water), fridge in room- housed in a cabinet that I feel caused it to overheat… and therefore was not very powerful enough to keep drinks cold. This was the perfect away from the city stay for us. Cortona was just a quick few day stay for us but the staff/sylvia were fantastic. Room was clean, the breakfast was delicious. A/c and water pressure from the shower was much needed and the location was perfect for us. It is a short walk from downtown Cortona (steep walk into the city and about 15 mins) but the views are unmatched. The room was spacious,clean and modern.

Great front desk staff. Properly maintained well. Pool is excellent. Breakfast can be a little better. This was my third stay there. I don’t recommend the restaurant,so many better local places in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!!
