Gorgeous, romantic. Highly recommend staying in the wine countryside. Three course dinner was exceptional, best meal we had including the big cities.

Beautiful and quaint. Very kind and helpful staff.

Excellent location

Breakfast is delicious and location is superb!

The Parador de Ronda was tremendous! It overlooks the breathtaking gorge and the surrounding valley. We rented a duplex room which turned out to have the bedroom upstairs with a master bathroom and a second bathroom downstairs. We had two balconies with great views. Breakfast was included with our room and wasn't anything super special, but the service and food were good. It was a buffet with eggs to order. Overall, we loved the hotel and would absolutely stay there again. We were also able to...

Owners have gone far and beyond to create a great hotel. Athmosphere, decoration and location at its best. Worth the experience to stay in a 5 star hotel run by owners. Many thanks for a great experience and wish you a fruitful return of your economical, phisical and emotional investment. All the best!!

Very well located, a little off the main street, and very charming. Nice clean room with character and with incredible view of the gorge and mountains. Close to the hiking paths down into the gorge; everywhere easily walkable. Worth having dinner at the restaurant on the hotel terrace. The only unpleasantness was that smoking was allowed on the terrace even during dinner. We would stay at Montelirio again if we were ever to return to Ronda.

Excelente! 10/10

We made a reservation while driving to Ronda based on reviews. The kind lady at the front desk parked our car for us (in a secure garage) and we left it there until we left the next evening. When we realized that our reserved room wasn't in the main building, she changed our room (for an additional charge) to one with a view. She wasn't bothered or annoyed with our request. The view from our patio over the bridge was beautiful!! The bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable and our stay was...

Very nice place

Magical. Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. The dining room and bar are also wonderful and the food superb. Room was comfortable, fantastic view. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm every back in the region.

Let me start with my only real concern...and it is one that is pervasive of accommodations in Spain. The beds are overly firm...and Americans will find the convention of making a queen bed out of two twins less than perfectly romantic. That said...my partner and I loved this place. The grounds are beautiful, the vistas breathtaking, the location is a great jumping off point for visiting the many Pueblos Blancas in the region. We enjoyed the restaurant on site (try the eggplant in sweet sauce)...
